At the end of 2011, textile and garment exports in Vietnam have encountered difficulties

According to the Vietnam Customs report on September 18, according to statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in August 2011, textile and apparel exports exceeded US$1.35 billion, which is the highest export volume in Vietnam since the beginning of this year. In the first eight months, total exports reached US$8.95 billion, a year-on-year increase of 28.2%. At this growth rate, the textile and apparel industry is expected to reach US$14 billion in exports during the year. However, textile and garment companies are currently worried about the business activities at the end of the year. First, as current prices continue to rise, most of the company's income needs to be used to import raw materials and inputs, and production costs have increased substantially. The second is the shortage of employment. Third, new changes in some major markets may lead to unstable orders at the end of the year. For example, if the U.S. economic recovery in the largest export market for textiles and garments in Vietnam is unclear, many export companies are in danger of losing their orders, and even US importers may reduce the possibility that they have already signed orders.
