2009 China (Shenzhen) Women's Design Creative Commonwealth Competition kicks off

The 2009 China (Shenzhen) Women's Design Creative Commonwealth Contest, sponsored by the Shenzhen Charity Foundation and Belle International Innovation Charity Fund, and organized by the Shenzhen Charity Association and the Shenzhen Garment Industry Association, will kick off the curtain in September. The contest was strongly supported by relevant departments and design institutes such as the Shenzhen Science and Technology Industry and Trade and Information Technology Committee, the China Fashion Designers Association, the China Apparel News, Beijing Fashion Design Institute, and Tianjin Textile Industry Institute.
"2009 China (Shenzhen) Women's Design and Creative Commons Contest" takes the theme of "Designing, Love, and the Future" to promote the role of women in a harmonious society, emphasizing the "truthfulness, goodness and beauty" design spirit, and using "design" creative "public welfare activities". “The new model promotes originality, fosters innovative original designs, supports small and medium-sized brand designers, and provides design graduates with channels and opportunities for learning, entrepreneurship, and employment.

The competition is divided into two stages: preliminary competition and finals. Participants are young fashion designers from all parts of the country and students from various garment schools in China. Famous designers from home and abroad, authoritative clothing critics, well-known professors of clothing colleges and media editors. A jury of professionals from the fashion industry formed a professional jury to review the entries. The total prize amount of this competition is 400,000 yuan, which is funded by the Shenzhen Charity Foundation and Belle International Innovation Charity Fund. The scale of bonuses is the highest in the domestic competition. The competition will set up two special awards, each awarding a scholarship of RMB 150,000. The Municipal Garment Industry Association will be responsible for liaising with the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, UK. After graduation, the Shenzhen brand will have the right to the first priority; Each of the silver and bronze prizes ranges from 30,000 yuan to 10,000 yuan. Gold and silver prize winners can also get free access to domestic clothing elite schools. In addition, this competition will also set up individual awards such as Best Picture Award and Best Craft Production Award.
The contest began to draft in late September. The work required "love" and "creativity" as the main design elements. The design concept of truth, goodness, and beauty reflects the contemporary feminine beauty, elegance, and elegant fashion. At the same time, it has distinctive features. The sense of the times can reflect Shenzhen's original design elements and connotation-rich design concepts, and it has certain industry promotion value. The preliminary round is expected to be completed in early November and hundreds of finalists will be selected for the final competition. The final will be announced at the end of December. The evening will be staged by professional models dressed in short-listed entries to interpret the power of China's cutting-edge design strength in the most beautiful appearance. After judging by the judges at the scene, the judges decided the awards, announced the final results on the spot, and awarded prizes to the winners.
