Xinjiang Dehui Railway Xintiandi will become Xinjiang Textile Service Center

The Xinjiang Autonomous Region held an interpretation of the clothing apparel industry policy and industry development communication meeting and revealed that Xintiandi, the Dehui locomotive at Qitai Road in Urumqi, will become the Xinjiang International Textile and Apparel Trade Center.

At the communication meeting, Liang Yong, deputy secretary-general of the autonomous regional government, stated that after the “three cities, seven parks and one center” plan was put forward, the autonomous region had always attached great importance to its construction issues. Now Urumqi has made a planning plan for “a multiple pivot points”. Among them, the Xinjiang International Textile and Apparel Trade Center serves as an important commerce and trade center for the display and marketing of textiles and apparel. In addition, a production and processing base and a design research and development and education and training base must be established to form a solid triangular support.

It is reported that Urumqi is nurturing processing and manufacturing fulcrums and designing R&D and supporting education and training fulcrums.
